Achievements

• The Chairman of the Board, Sayed Hamzah A. Malik was appointed on 30^thMay, 2019 while other members were appointed with effect from 25^th June, 2019.  Nine Hundred and Fourteen (914) pilgrims, Six (6) officials and Amirul Hajj and his team participated in the 2019 Holy Pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia as reflected in the table below:

1. The Board refunded a total sum of N24,628,900.09 to all 2019 Oyo State Pilgrims with (N51,170.45) to each pilgrims. The refund was as a result of Hajj Fare by the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON). 
2. Also, the Board refunded a total sum of N7,064,344.32 to all 2019 Oyo State Pilgrims with each pilgrims paid a sum of N8,064.32

1. The Contract of the construction of the Administrative Building referred to above was awarded to a contractor by name Kannike Multi-Venture in 2010. Unfortunately, the contractor had abandoned the project since 2015.
2. The contract was awarded to the contractor Messrs Kannike Multi-Venture on 7^th of October 2010 at sum of N67,336,956.05 the contractor was mobilized by the Pilgrims Welfare Board with sum of N20,201,086.81 representing 30% of the contract sum
3. The contractor has received two additional payments after certification of the project plus the initial mobilization fee all totaling N28,695,575.01
4. An additional sum of N20,000,000.00 as re-mobilization was granted to the Contractor by the State Government making a total sum of N48,695,575.01 collected so far by the Contactor.
5. According to the Ministry of Works and Transport evaluation the total work done on the project is as follow; Administrative Block -        63%
   Ablution/Toilet -        52%
   Car Park and External -        6%  

Therefore the current value of work done by the Contractor according to the Ministry of Work and Transport Evaluation is N33,715,909.68. series of meetings were held with Contractor to return the site but to no avail.
